CHOTTO®

The CHOTTO ( chair + ottoman ) is an innovative and health-focused task seating design that supports an ergonomically ideal and task-effective recumbent posture. It is designed to enhance health and productivity by reversing the unwanted vertebral compression, muscle fatigue, and poor circulation that develops throughout the body when seated within typical “ergonomic” chairs.

The CHOTTO’s unique geometry, flexible seating surface and pivoting headrest work collectively to reverse spinal compression and eliminate muscle tension throughout the entire body. As the body sinks into the seating surface, the CHOTTO provides subtle resistance to the lumbar and cervical spine to reduce compression while simultaneously adapting to each body’s unique weight, shape and movement. A portable work surface is included and is designed to freely rotate while nested within the frame of the CHOTTO.
